East China University of Science and Technology

Approved by the Degree Administration Office of China’s State Council, East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST) started its MBA programs in 1997, with the first group of MBA postgraduate students enrolled in 1998. In 2000, under the approval of the Education Ministry and the Degree Administration Office, ECUST and Canberra University of Australia launched the joint MBA program, with enrollment kicked off the same year. In 2001, ECUST and University of Management and Technology (UMT) of US formed a partnership in co-training postgraduate students of Project Management. In 2003, ECUST initiated student exchange and double-degree programs together with University of Hamburg of Germany, followed by the massive international MBA students exchange program in 2005. In 2007, IMBA program was launched. In 2009, ECUST and ESCEM School of Business and Management (France) opened up Sino-France double-degree MBA program, a further step to forge ECUST MBA education into a more international program.
