About The Fuqua School of Business

How Will Covid-19 Affect My Application?

Some of the steps The Fuqua School of Business has taken:

In-person classes are being moved to a virtual format until further notice

The Duke Chapel, Sarah P. Duke Gardens, Nasher Museum of Art, Duke Lemur Center, Rubenstein Arts Center, Athletics Hall of Fame, and Karsh Alumni and Visitors Center are all closed to visitors until further notice

All on-campus events – including Admissions tours, Chapel services, events at the Museum and Duke Gardens, and all athletic events – have been cancelled

Resources for teaching and learning from a distance and working remotely have been put in place.

The Duke MBA-Daytime is a full-time MBA degree program that combines rigorous academic training with applied learning experiences in a globally-focused environment. This integrated approach to your development as a professional and leader provides you with both analytical skills and theoretical grounding-aptitudes that will produce rewards over the life of your career. There are 10 core courses required for the program, but offer more than 100+ elective courses. We have 14 concentration options, 2 certificate options and five Joint Degree Options.

Extensive recruiting and career programming are just one of the many resources we offer here. At Fuqua, you are the future of business. We’re dedicated to molding multi-dimensional, technically-competent thinkers and doers who can maneuver the complexity of an interdependent global economy-professionals who companies and organizations need in order to be successful. But, technical know-how and business savvy are not adequate aspirations for a Duke MBA student.

You must also possess the moral compass to both “get along” and “get it right” to guide organizations toward a collective good for ALL stakeholders-others, the organization, the community, and the world.
