Wake Forest University’s Graduate School of Business offers programs across two campuses. Full-time and Evening MBA programs are offered in Winston-Salem, NC; and Evening and Saturday MBA programs are offered in Charlotte, NC. The Graduate School of Business also offers a Master of Science in Accountancy; a Master of Arts in Management (designed for recent college graduates who majored in liberal arts and sciences); and four joint-degree programs – JD/MBA, MD/MBA, PhD/MBA and MSA/MBA. Wake Forest offers experiential, hands-on, graduate business education. Personal interaction characterizes the learning environment, which stresses entrepreneurial thinking and teamwork, and small class sizes provide greater opportunity for exchanging ideas with faculty and classmates. Students closely interact with some of academia’s brightest minds. The Schools of Business faculty possess an understanding of what makes the business world work, and what makes it fail. Their ability to share that knowledge and help students learn is unmatched, and their commitment to providing practical experience puts a real-world face on the theories they teach.In the full-time MBA program, students select a Career Concentration in Consulting/General Management, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Health, Marketing or Operations Management after an integrated first-year curriculum in core business and management components. The full-time program is completed in four semesters over 21 months. The part-time MBA programs for working professionals offer a fixed curriculum that integrates all functional business areas with three electives in the second year. All programs for working professionals are completed in six semesters over 24 months. Evening programs in Winston-Salem and Charlotte, NC meet two nights per week. The Saturday program, available in Charlotte, meets 37 Saturdays each year. The school is dedicated to helping all students find their calling in life and grow as leaders in all areas of life. Students are challenged to follow their passion, “Find Their Fire,” so that their life’s work has significance to them, as well as to society. All graduate students have access to a dedicated Career Management Center, which provides career and life-planning strategies. Career coaches are available at both the Winston-Salem and Charlotte campuses to work closely with students to assess career options, refine goals, and sharpen interviewing and negotiation skills.
