The Geneva School of Business Administration (Haute Ecole de Gestion – HEG Genève) is part of Universities of Applied Sciences Western Switzerland network (HES-SO). HES-SO is the largest professional higher education network in Switzerland that hosts more than 15'000 students.HEG provides an academic and a practical-oriented education, thus its graduates are highly appreciated by the employment market. HEG Bachelors and Masters Degrees are recognized by the Swiss Confederation and the awarded qualifications are protected. HEG also offers a large set of executive and professional education programmes, classes and programmes are based on the results of applied research and professors consultancy services main conclusions.HEG Geneva offers two part-time MBA programmes:The Executive MBA in Management Communication and Organisation (MCO) which is designed for working managers who want to enhance their leadership abilities and advance their career through the development of their managerial skills, the improvement of their knowledge and the acquisition of new tools. At the end of the programme, participants will be able to move their career into more senior positions or to start their own businesses. The MCO lasts 2 years and takes place in average 2 days per month, the programme also includes 20% eLearning activities. The Executive MBA in MCO is a Master of Advanced Studies, according the Bologna System, it entitles 60 ECTS credits.The second one is an MBA in Management of Information Systems Security (Management de la Sécurité des Systèmes d’Information - MSSI) that is designed for managers working in the field of information systems security. The programme empowers them with a holistic and a strategic vision in this specific arena that relies to the value creation and regulatory compliance issues. Because of its strategic importance, the information systems security often remains in the top management responsibilities. The programme is positioned in this specific level of competence. The MSSI lasts 18 months and organised in six residential weeks. During the 6 last months of the programme, participants work on their Master practical thesis. The MBA in MSSSI is a Master of Advanced Studies, according the Bologna System, it entitles 60 ECTS credits.
