Generally, a GMAT score is always required. As applicants come from different academic backgrounds, different education institutions and with various levels of work experience, the GMAT score allows us to assess these applicants' academic ability for an international MBA program. Extensive research also supports that it is a consistent measure reflecting how well an applicant will handle the MBA studies, particularly on required courses. Full-time MBA candidates with over 10 years of extensive work experience and an exceptional academic background might have the GMAT requirement waived subject to approval by the school. However, since the competition of our admissions for the full-time MBA program is very keen, you are highly encouraged to do the same for a more competitive application. Admitted candidates will be notified of the result of their GMAT waiver upon receiving the admissions offer from us. It is possible for the request to be rejected, after which the candidate will still be required to submit a satisfactory GMAT score as an admissions condition. Therefore, those seeking to have their GMAT requirement waived should apply in the first round to allow sufficient time to take the test in case the waiver request is unsuccessful.
