University information

Our Full-Time MBA Program has the main goal of developing managerial skills such as team working, leadership, decision making, global vision, and the ability to work under pressure. We work with the Case Method in order to analyze, discuss and come to a conclusion for more than 900 cases during the two years of the MBA. IPADE’s Full-Time MBA Program is taught 100% in English and in two campuses (Mexico City and Monterrey). ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 years of work experience
  • Proficiency in English:
  • TOEIC (at least 850 points)
  • TOEFL IBT (at least 100 points)
  • TOEFL PBT (at least 600 points)
  • IELTS (at least 6.5 points)

  • GRE (at least 150 points per section)

ADMISSION PROCESS

1. APPOINTMENT Your first contact with IPADE: an event, an appointment, a breakfast or a Skype call (for foreign applicants).

2. EXAM For the exam, you can prepare with our online course. Ask the Admissions Team for details (don’t forget to fill in the “Electronic Application”).

3. INTERVIEWS Interviews with directors of the Program (don’t forget to bring your documentation).

4. COMMITTEE The Admissions Committee will decide if you are accepted or not and you will receive a letter to let you know the results.

5. ENROLLMENT Once you are accepted, you have to pay the enrollment fee in order to have your place ensured and to apply for scholarships and financial aid.

6. SCHOLARSHIPS AND FINANCING You can start applying to scholarships and financing. Ask for information to the Admissions team.

IPADE has three main campuses, located in Mexico City, Monterrey, and Guadalajara. In order to meet the needs of communities in smaller cities across Mexico, IPADE also offers its programs through temporary satellite campuses throughout the country and recently has presence in Costa Rica and Panama. 


Our Business School holds its Mexico City campus in The Hacienda of San Antonio Clavería, which was built in the last third of the seventeenth century and restored inthe early fifties.


In Monterrey IPADE arrived in 1976 to attend the northern Top Management community. IPADE´s campus at Monterrey combines a classic style with the modernity that characterize Monterrey.


IPADE has been in Guadalajara since 1978. In 2013 new facilities were opened, reinforcingIPADE’s commitment with the business people in Jalisco and the Central Western regionin Mexico. In 2015 the campus won the 3rd place in “Obra del año” award, granted by the magazine Obras Web.


The Research Centers enrich IPADE’s academic activities in which the Faculty members undertake various endeavors to promote the presence of the Institution in various forums devoted to the Mexican and global business sector.
Many of the challenges faced by today’s managers require insights achieved through basic, collaborative, and interdisciplinary research approach. IPADE’s research centers operate under this belief.

Over the past 50 years, more than 42,000 managers, business owners, entrepreneurs, and business leaders have graduated from IPADE and now form part the most important alumni network in Mexico.
The Liaison with Alumni Department is responsible for maintaining relationships with IPADE alumni through various programs and services.
The Liaison with Alumni Department offers various programs that offer alumni the opportunity to continue to develop the knowledge, skills, and vision they need to make effective decisions in a dynamic and complex international business environment.
These programs also offer local and international business leaders an opportunity to connect and share ideas and experiences from a diverse range of sectors, areas, and activities.
IPADE is part of three important international networks, including:
  • Global Business School Network- GBSN. This network harnesses the power of a global network of leading business schools to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing, advancing management education that delivers international best practice with local relevance.
  • European Foundation for Management Development- EFMD. It has members from over 750 organizations related to the business, academic, and consulting businesses in 81 countries. A unique forum for information, research, networking, and debate on innovation and best practices in management development.
  • The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business- AACSB. Is the world’s largest business education network connecting students, academia, and business to advance business education worldwide.
