AT A GLANCEWith the aim of developing global leaders well-prepared for the future, the IUJ MBA program is built upon an original curriculum which focuses on comparative analysis of global issues from a Japan-Asia perspective, while also adhering to the high standards set for a global MBA education.In response to a societal need for managers with technology and business skills, in 2001, the IUJ Business School started a one-year E-Business Management (EBM) Program, becoming the first business school in Japan to create such a program.CURRICULUMIUJ MBA stresses collaboration between academia and industry to solve today’s most challenging business issues, such as “Future Global Leadership,” “Reinventing the Dynamics of Innovation,” “Market Evolution and Value Co-Creation,” and “Restructuring and Corporate Governance.” IUJ MBA equips students with a total skill set. “Hard” skills are the analytical techniques and problem-solving frameworks that allow them to recognize trends, interpret market signals, optimize the firm’s financial position, and adjust strategies to overcome new challenges. “Soft” skills include leading and motivating people, negotiating, and leveraging team diversity with effective communication, conflict management, empathy and cultural sensitivity.English is de facto language of international business, so all IUJ courses are in English. Students can polish their skills in our English Language Program classes, or they can gain fluency in business Japanese in IUJ’s excellent Japanese Language Program.FACILITIES AND CAMPUS LIFESituated in a beautiful valley where each season shows a different face, the campus itself is rich in cultural diversity and is a true international community.
