FAQs

Our MBA programmes feature live learning projects and workshops with visiting lecturers and industry specialists. Our business connections mean we provide opportunities to network with, present to, brainstorm with and do work for the industry.

Out with your degree, students will have opportunities to network with leading industry professionals through the Business Schools various networking and employability events throughout the academic year.

Students also have the opportunity to join the Business School LinkedIn group and network with over 900+ alumni, fellow students, industry experts and academic members and counting.

Just like industry, we don’t run our programmes around exams – in fact there are no exams, just intensive real-world learning that helps you gain relevant knowledge, quickly and effectively. All assessments are done by a portfolio of work-based assignments.

Yes, there are over 150 societies at the University of Aberdeen covering all interests and joining a society is a great way to meet like-minded people, gain new skills or excel in your interests.

The Business School is home to the Economics and Business Society connecting Business School (and non-business school!) students, through an array of social, academic and careers-orientated events ranging from CV workshops to Economics Conferences around the UK.

The Aberdeen University Consulting Group (AUCG) focuses on three functional areas to give students comprehensive insights and key skills for management consulting. Their holistic approach aims to accelerate students’ careers in management consulting and beyond.

There are scholarships and grants for international students who wish to study in Britain. For all available funding, from general bursaries and discount schemes to discipline and country-specific scholarships, within the University and externally, please visit our funding database.
