MBA Overview

MGIMO MBA Programme provides in-depth analysis and practical application of cutting-edge management tools and seeks to systematically develop the skills of a modern manager in a global multicultural business environment.

The MBA Programme is focused on giving substantial theoretical and practical knowledge of management principles, as well as instilling skills for independent use of such knowledge to develop an efficient business development strategy tailored to the best international management experience. The MBA Programme is designed for managers and specialists with higher education and at least three years of experience who plan to further their career and will need knowledge and skills to run the relevant business processes. Upon completion, each student is granted a MGIMO Diploma as a Master of Business Administration.

The target audience is top and middle managers, business owners, people with successful careers, ambitions, and leadership potential. 

MBA Programme objectives are:

·         To train highly professional managers and practitioners that apply state-of-the-art knowledge and skills to efficiently run a company in any sector of economy, to make independent decisions and solve extraordinary interfunctional managerial problems on the basis of practical research and global practices.

·         To harmoniously combine research and educational components so as to further and support the student’s previous knowledge, skills, achievements, and personal goals.

·         To focus on the problems of Russian business and management while also studying international business and management experience.

·         To shape a generalist programme based on comprehensive research into all of the management aspects.

·         To master the analytical management tools while tailoring them to real business.

·         To further the skills of innovative application of theoretical methods and approaches to the actual business practice; finally, to enable each student to put their outstanding leadership qualities, reputability and reputation into good use.
