RTU Riga Business School (RBS) is a management-training school within Riga Technical University (RTU). Already since 1991 it works in close cooperation with the State University of New York at Buffalo (UB), USA and the University of Ottawa, Canada. Our location in transit between the East and the West allows our students to combine the experience of the East with the western style quality of teaching. This is a professionally oriented degree program with close links between the school and the work place, which are strengthened by a summer internship in the leading companies, visiting recruiters from the largest recruiting firms, career development and informal networking. If you think about international management career or want a solid jump in your advancement, RBS Full-time MBA is for you. Executive MBAIf you are a high level executive, you know where you are going and you want to learn with others who are going the same place, then the Executive MBA is for you. 20 months of intensive learning include a Trade Mission to North America when you will use all of your skills and knowledge to explore a business opportunity to link your country with North America. EMBA classes are held in monthly modules (4 days a month) for groups with international students.Professional MBAThe oldest and most prestigious part-time MBA program in Latvia, the Professional MBA is designed for busy professionals who are serious about career development and advancement. Up-to date curriculum provides a strong academic foundation combined with intensive analyses of current business issues and mastery of skills for real-world business goals.In September 2005 RBS has started admitting students to MBA in Information Technologies, which is designed to prepare managers to lead the twenty-first century organizations in a rapidly changing, globally competitive, technologically sophisticated environment. Such IT concentration courses as Management of Innovations, Information Technology and Strategy, E-Business Solutions, Information Legislation, Standards and Security are in the program.All programs are provided with the latest textbooks from the USA. Classes are taught by experienced and professional faculty from North American Universities and local faculty members, most of whom hold western degrees. Upon graduation our students receive an MBA degree and a certificate cosigned by all three Universities.
