Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU) was inaugurated in April 2000 as Japan's first genuine international university. Our AACSB-accredited MBA program is conducted entirely in English in a culturally diverse learning environment. It offers a strong foundation in established management techniques, interactive classes with faculty and fellow students from around the world as well as opportunities for independent research and internships in the university’s extended network with Japanese companies and organizations. With undergraduate and graduate students from over 84 countries, APU offers a unique learning environment.

Beppu is a small city of 125,000 people located on the northeastern coast of Kyushu, the southernmost island in the Japanese archipelago. The city is famous for its abundance of hot springs and 140,000 tons of water gush daily from over 2000 sources. It is a popular tourist destination for Japanese and international tourists.
