Nebrija Management School in Madrid has been offering Master Degrees since 1988 to ambitious university graduates who strive for academic excellence, forming them into professionals who are both efficient and responsible, able to grasp complex issues, offer alternative solutions, and make proper decisions that best comply with the expectations of their businesses, their clients, and their employees. Our faculty are skilled teachers with extensive professional experience, thereby bringing an ideal combination of theory and practice to the classroom. A mandatory business management internship permits students to integrate classroom studies with practical experience. International focus: Following the clear international outlook of the University, the International School of Management has developed a number of relations with foreign universities. We are a member of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). Approximately one third of our students hale from a dozen different countries, contributing an invaluable international perspective to class discussions and personal interactions. Similarly, students in our International MBA spend one semester in a foreign university where they have the opportunity to complete an international specialisation. Type of programmes: The Antonio de Nebrija School of Business offers not only the traditional MBA programme, but also specialised MBAs in International Business, Technology Management, e-Business, Entrepreneurship, Tourism Management and Executive MBAs. An optional e-business certificate is offered with all of these programmes. Special Characteristics of the programmes Small groups (student-professor ratio: 10/1) Business management internships (160 mandatory hours) Prestigious faculty who work as consultants to many of the world's leading companies. Case Method One-year course, Full time International exchanges The MBA candidate must hold a university degree and have less than 7 years work experience. Broad international character: 30% of the MBA students are foreign students, contributing to familiarity with international business management styles and a rich intercultural exchange. The student must be enthusiastic, open minded and willing to participate actively in all course activities. Methodology: Active and participative approach. Interactive teaching. Team analysis and solution building. Small classes to maximise interaction between faculty and students and to encourage collaborative team-based learning. The method of instruction includes lectures, case studies, business projects, business games, team building activities, seminars, personal research, and real life cases. The full-time International MBA is dedicated to the formation of specialised professionals in international business management.
