Founded in 1885, the University of St. Thomas first welcomed students into its MBA program in 1974. The new Schulze Hall provides a home for the school of entrepreneurship and all of the UST MBA core classes. Minneapolis ranks in the top five for the number of Fortune 500 companies and also offers high employment rates, competitive per capita personal income and one of the lowest costs of living among large cities in the U.S. Minneapolis alone has 35 museums and 130 art galleries.
