Our Programme

The Surrey MBA curriculum is modern, relevant and sustainable. Our programme benefits from the innovative world leading research being conducted at Surrey Business School, as well as significant inputs from our network of industry practitioners. Theory and practice are balanced across the MBA, creating dynamic and diverse learning environments in which students discover valuable insights into the key principles of modern management. Our focus is on shaping leaders for the future, where technological innovation and sustainability will be intertwined.

We also have a unique and clear focus on the rapidly growing Digital Economy. Working closely with the Surrey Centre for the Digital Economy (CoDE), our MBA offers students rare and valuable insights into digital platforms now, and into the future. The programme also benefits from significant expertise in the areas of Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Business Analytics, and Leadership. Our MBA is current, relevant and vibrant.

Our Location
Your learning will take place in Guildford in the heart of Surrey, a county renowned as a centre for business, technology and innovation. Guildford is well-connected and a perfect base for exploration. You can drive to two of the UK’s largest international airports in just 35 minutes or take a 34-minute train journey directly into the centre of London, a global hub of arts, culture and entertainment.

Taster days
Join us for one of our virtual taster days to get a feel for our full-time and Executive MBA (part-time), including our integrated modules and innovative learning techniques. Taster days are running from the end of October 2020.

How do you apply to an MBA programme at the University?

Applications are submitted directly through our website. You will be asked to provide your CV, personal statement, degree documents (if applicable) and the details of two referees.

How many people are in each cohort?

We allow a maximum of 35 students in each MBA cohort. Our cohorts generally range from 30 – 35 people.



How many hours are required for the full time and part time program?

Full time program – Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
Part time program – Saturday 9am – 8pm and Sunday 9am – 5pm, approximately 17 weekends required each year



What are the fees and funding options?
