I have less than three years' work experience? Will I still be eligible to apply for the MBA?
If you have an undergraduate degree and at least two years' work experience, we will consider your application if you achieve a GMAT score of at least 650. If you have less than two years' work experience, you might wish to apply for another postgraduate course, such as the Master of Commerce, Master of Professional Accounting, Master of Business Information Management, Master of Economics, Master of Human Resources and Employment Relations, or Master of Marketing.
What if I don't have an undergraduate degree?
Unfortunately, we can't accept applications from international students who do not hold an undergraduate degree. Australian students who do not have an undergraduate degree but do have at least eight years' relevant work experience may wish to apply for the Graduate Certificate in Business, which is an entry pathway to the MBA.
Do I have to sit the GMAT?
Yes, all MBA Full Time candidates are required to take the GMAT test. Please ensure that the test scores are forwarded by GMAC (Graduate Management Admissions Council) to The University of Western Australia's Business School (code DSL-QR-84). GMAT scores will not be valid if they are more than five years old. Please contact GMAC directly (see www.gmac.com) to arrange to take the test.
Are there scholarships available for MBA students?
Yes, there are a range of scholarships available for both Australian and international students. For full details, visit www.mba.uwa.edu.au or contact the UWA Business School's Postgraduate Student Centre on +618 6488 3980 or [email protected]
