University of Zurich was founded in 1833 as a public university. It has more than 27,500 students (largest in Switzerland), seven faculties covering more than 100 different subject areas. The University offers Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD programs, and a wide variety of continuing education programs.
The
Master of Advanced Studies (MAS), UZH in European and Asian Business Management
(70 ECTS) offered by the UZH Faculty of Business, Economics and Informatics, is the leading Executive Education master program at university level with a
modular structure. Upon completing the program, participants have acquired
comprehensive, practice-related knowledge in international business management
focused on Europe and Asia. In addition, they will gain crucial language skills
either in German or an Asian language. The first part of the program imparts
extensive knowledge in economics and business administration, while the second
part deals with the specific market and cultural characteristics of Europe and
Asia. Moreover, participants apply and deepen their knowledge in a paid
mandatoryinternship lasting at least six months at an international company in
Europe or Asia. They therefore become familiar with both European and Asian
business cultures and can act as cross-cultural mediators. To complete the
program, participants submit a final thesis, which they defend in a
disputation.
The commitment to fostering diversity is a point of pride
for us, as demonstrated by our current cohort, which comprises over 60% female
Master's candidates representing nine (9) different nationalities.
