Distance Learning MBA Overview

Warwick Business School is triple-accredited, and the University of Warwick's largest department. The Warwick MBA degree certificate does not differentiate between study modes - Full-time, Executive (modular), and Distance/online learning. The Distance Learning MBA is delivered through the bespoke online learning environment my.wbs, which houses teaching materials, interactive spaces and the online classroom wbsLive. The programme comprises 8 required modules, 4 electives chosen from a wide range, and a consultancy project, and takes between two and four years to complete. There are 30 teaching hours for each module, and 70 hours of guided and independent self-study. Attendance is also required at two ‘Warwick Weeks’ for face-to-face study and interaction, at the Warwick campus or at WBS London, The Shard. In addition to Warwick Weeks, the tuition fee includes one optional face-to-face module which can be taken as a required or elective module, with the choice to study either in the UK or in cities outside the UK. Assessment is through online practice tests, individual written assignments, group work presentations and reports, and two exams held during Warwick Weeks.
