Full Time MBA Overview

The WHU International MBA program is a general management program that provides students from different industries and professions with the expertise to understand the interdisciplinary relationships of a company, and to make strategic decisions utilizing the latest management techniques.

The MBA is a full-time 12-month program, or a 24-month part-time program, and is aimed at qualifying participants to lead companies strategically. The curriculum emphasizes management concepts that foster strategic vision, entrepreneurial spirit, operational excellence, and intercultural awareness. Participants learn to identify complex interdependencies and leverage the knowledge of peers for the advantage of the entire company. An understanding of cultural differences, and how this matters for individual and corporate success is developed through taking a global perspective.

The program includes three one-week international modules at regional partner institutions, including the Kellogg School of Management in Chicago, CEIBS and Fudan in Shanghai, and IIMB in Bangalore. The WHU MBA program also puts a special emphasis on leadership and personal development, with a significant focus on enhancing participants' soft skills.

The program's indisputable goal is to create a mindset of responsibility toward the social and environmental consequences of managerial decisions. This will give students the skills to take over strategic management functions.
