One-year executive format master degree jointly offered by HKUST Business School and NYU Stern. 7 modules are held in global financial centers - Hong Kong, New York and Shanghai. Modular class format is ideal for working executives. Diverse cohort of finance executives representing 15+ nationalities with an average 12 years of work experience. World-class faculty comes from best of both worlds and interactive case-based teaching enhances learning experience. Comprehensive and in-depth curriculum in global finance is included with hot topics such as FinTech and Behavioral Finance. GMAT is not required for candidates who have sufficient quantitative background. In general, for people whose prior education is in business, science, economics, finance, usually the GMAT will not be required. However, we will also need to know more about the subjects that you took in university to see if you have sufficient quantitative background.
A good TOEFL / IELTS-Academic result is required if English was not your language of instruction at the undergraduate or postgraduate level. Please note that TOEFL and IELTS results are valid for two years from the test date.
Our program is a 1-year part-time degree program jointly offered by the HKUST Business School and NYU Stern School of Business. One of the entry requirements is that an applicant has to have a minimum of 5 years of working experience. For those who have less than 5 years of experiences, their cases will be considered on a case-by-case basis, but those applicants are usually with close to 5 years of experiences. If you are unsure about your eligibility for the program, you are welcome to send us your resume and we will advise you accordingly.
