The Whittemore School at the University of New Hampshire offers students three models through which to pursue the MBA program.The 11 month, Full-time MBA Program begins each August with a cohort of 35 students. The degree is comprised of ten required courses, four electives and a six credit corporate consulting project. The corporate consulting project allows small teams of students to apply their knowledge to real-world situations at regional companies. The one year program includes an international residency, in the past the class has gone to Shanghai and Beijing China.The evening, Part-time Program is the most flexible option for students who work full-time. Typically students begin the program in the fall, although a winter start is sometimes an option. Students take ten required core courses and six electives. The program can be completed between 2-6 years by attending class one or two nights per week. Classes meet from 5:30-9:15 pm. Specializations are available in Financial Management, Marketing & Supply Chain Management, and Entrepreneurial Venture Creation. The Part Time MBA program is offeredn in both Durham and Manchester, NH. The Executive MBA Program is designed for working professionals with a minimum of seven years of experience; it allows students to continue working full time while attending classes. The Program meets every other Friday/Saturday and takes 19 months to complete. The small class size and cohort model allow students to learn from one another, as well as the faculty while progressing through the program. Our new On-Line MBA Program will be available in September 2012. It is similar to our Part Time MBA Program, but can be completed by taking 100 percent of the courses on-line or a combination of on-line and in-class. In addition to the MBA programs, the Whittemore School offers an MS program in Accounting as well as MA and PhD degree programs in Economics.
