The SSE MBA Executive Format is an Executive MBA. It's delivered part-time in English, in Stockholm, Riga, Singapore, and Silicon Valley, and consists of ten full campus weeks, 50 days, spread out over 18 months. It lets you earn both an MBA degree as well as three international certificates for courses in collaboration with Stanford Engineering Center for Global & Online Education (CGOE), National University of Singapore (NUS), and your elective course at a member school within the Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM).
The program is ranked by Financial Times as #10 in the world for ESG related content, and as #20 for work experience, which relates to the seniority of our participants.
It stands on a general management foundation with the possibility to personalize your learning journey with electives at the SSE campuses and at a member school within the GNAM. Through our MBALive pedagogy, you will pursue a number of live projects and apply your new knowledge and skills in real organizations, to guarantee hands-on learning. You also follow a leadership program with a professional coach helping you enhance your career progress.

Our participants are fantastic. They all work full-time while pursuing their studies with us, and most have extensive international experience. In our current class, average age is 41 with an age span from 27 to 50+. Average years of work experience is 17. 44% are women and 51% are international, representing 20 nationalities. They work in organizations of all sizes, both the private and public sectors, and some are entrepreneurs. Industries represented are retail, automotive, telecom, entertainment, manufacturing, life sciences, technology, finance, pharma and many more. Your class will be very diverse.
We actively strive for diversity in our classes. More diverse groups foster richer case discussions, broader perspectives, enhances learning, and stronger networks. There is no typical SSE MBA participant - each of you is special.

Yes, we have several in-person and digital meetings planned for this year, and you find them on our home page. You can also book a one-on-one meeting, digital or in-person, to get more personal advice.
The application is done on-line via our home page. First you need to fill in and submit a CV review form to check that you are eligible to apply. If you are eligible we will open the application portal for you.
We are open for applications until October. Depending on when you submit your application, admissions decisions are communicated at the end of May, June, August, September, or October 2025.
Main campus is in Stockholm, Sweden. Three of the ten campus weeks are mandatory international field trips and we travel to Latvia, Singapore, and Silicon Valley. You can also choose to do your electives outside Sweden. One campus weeks is a GNAM elective week when you can travel to any of the member schools within GNAM. Another campus week is a SSE elective week where you can choose to do a course in Stockholm or in Riga, at our sister school SSE Riga, in Latvia.
