About The University of Law

The University of Law is one of the longest-established specialist providers of legal education and business training in the UK, with campuses in London, Birmingham, Bristol, Chester, Guildford, Leeds, Manchester and Nottingham, and international campuses in Berlin and in Hong Kong. You can also study our law courses at the University of East Anglia, The University of Exeter, The University of Reading, The University of Liverpool, The University of Sheffield, Newcastle University and The University of Chester Law School. Our courses are also available online, full time and part time.

We’ve trained more practising lawyers in the UK than anyone else and have programmes available from undergraduate to postgraduate level, covering law and business. We also offer Professional Development programmes and, for undergraduate level, criminology and policing degrees.  

More than 250 of our tutors are qualified lawyers and business professionals, all with extensive practical experience that they can pass onto our students.

ULaw offers an established teaching methodology which focuses on knowledge and practical skills, helping to prepare students for real-life challenges and giving them the best possible start for their future careers.

We have an Expert Careers and Employability Service, with the team focused on helping our students to achieve their career goals – over 30 experts providing one-to-one support to our students.

 

Business School Free Master’s

At our Business School, we offer the opportunity to progress onto a business master’s for free, on successful completion of an on-campus business degree at The University of Law Business School. Terms and Conditions apply.

At Postgraduate level, ULaw offers a range of postgraduate legal training and Master’s degrees, designed by qualified experts to help students advance at any stage of their career. 
 
At the ULaw Business School, our Master’s programmes are also practically focused, designed to help students gain the commercial skills and understanding that employers are seeking. Many of our Master’s courses are accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), so you would graduate with a CMI qualification in addition to your degree.

Employability Service
Our specialist legal careers and employability service is one of the largest in the UK. Our expert pro bono and work experience team provide access to over 3,000 opportunities, enabling students to work on real cases and put their legal skills into practice. Students will also get access to legal vacancies.
We have an established mentoring programme - we work with over 500 practising lawyers who bring a wealth of experience to our student mentoring programmes. Postgraduate students can apply for the mentoring scheme, where they can experience legal practice with guidance from a dedicated and experienced mentor.
ULaw Business School is similarly employability focused. We have a programme of activities and support to help you every step of the way towards a successful career. Our careers service is available at all our campuses, including our online campus. You can even access our support before you start your course.
