Founded in 1963 as part of an agreement between the governments of the United States and Peru, ESAN become the first graduate business school in the Spanish-speaking world in South America.
Its setup and development was entrusted to Stanford University Graduate School of Business, and the legacy of academic excellence has persevered throughout ESAN’s history.
Known as Universidad ESAN in Spanish, the university is based in Lima, the capital city of Peru, where soaring city structures are perched on beachside cliffs beside beautiful colonial architecture, offering sun-drenched views of the Pacific Ocean.
