Candidates to Bangor Business School may choose between several MBA programmes. Full time MBAs are offered in Banking, Finance, Law, Management and Marketing, and our block-taught executive MBA enables candidates to specialise in either Public Sector Management or Entrepreneurship & SME Enterprise Management.Bangor Business School is currently the No 1 Business School in the UK for research in Accounting and Finance (RAE 2008). The degree focuses on the financial and strategic management of banks and other financial institutions. The MBA Banking and Law focuses on the financial and strategic management of banks and other financial institutions as well as the increasingly complex legal and regulatory structures within which banks and their executives have to operate. The Executive MBA is inovatively tailored to meet the needs of management professionals who have key technical and functional experience, but who seek the breadth of business and management knowledge needed to develop their careers in the direction and at the speed required. The MBA Law and Management emphasises both professional and vocational development in key legal and regulatory issues that play a central role in the successful management of modern enterprises of all types and sizes. The MBA Management focuses on developing an understanding of higher-level managerial skills and concepts, and their application in practical situations. Students will learn through a balanced curriculum, including theory, workshops and case studies taken from the world stage. The MBA Marketing explores the principles, theoretical concepts and practice of marketing within the context of business and management. The programme focuses on developing academic and applied skills in Marketing and across a range of business and management subjects within national and global contexts.
