In this week’s edition of the Pulse, we showcase the rollercoaster ride that is the MBA application, interview, and acceptance or rejection process. From the first highs of meeting a deadline like My Journey to Business School, to the lows of being rejected by a school like Naija Girl MBA, the blogosphere contains a wide spectrum of emotion this week, it seems.

Recovery from a setback can take on numerous forms. Like the hero in the final fight of a movie, Pulling that MBA Trigger has dusted herself off, picked herself up and set her sights on a 750 on the GMAT. If My Life of Bliss was feeling a bit like Rocky Balboa in Rocky IV, with the GMAT playing the role of Ivan Drago we can cut to the workout montage, because she is coming back stronger than before.

MBA on My Mind is busy, busy, busy, and has to reschedule the GMAT one more time.

Grant Me Admission gives over a guest spot to The Engineer MBA, who talks about HBS, Sloan and prepping for an interview.

Congrats go out to Top Dog MBA who was invited to interview with Wharton.

When you get into a program, do you have a rich uncle to pay for your tuition, or will you need some advice from EF Essays about footing what can be a massive bill?

Some meta material to finish: a mention in the Pulse of Black Girl MBA on Campus’s post about being featured on the TopMBA.com Weekly Pulse.
