Curriculum

As a big data expert, you are able to do the hands-on work as well as lead intensive data-driven projects, departments and businesses. Therefore, the curriculum is a combination of courses in three fields:

  1. Business (with courses in strategy, finance, marketing, HRM)
  2. Analytics (with courses in statistics, econometrics, system optimization)
  3. Computer Science (with courses in machine learning, data visualisation)

MBA Big Data & Business Analytics:  facts & figures

  • Start date: September
  • Duration: 24 months
  • 7 hours per week of scheduled class time (3.5 hours per class, twice a week from 18:30 - 22:00). Evenings vary per block
  • 8 - 13 hours per week for preparation, casework and assignments
  • Exams, resits, career workshops or company visits may take place on Friday during the day or evening
  • Officially recognised Master’s degree. Title to be obtained: MBA

  • Bachelor’s degree with a quantitative or business background
  • 3 years post-graduate work experience
  • GMAT minimum of 630 for those with a bachelor’s degree
