Executive MBA

The executive MBA is a program aiming at enhancing the leadership and strategic capabilities of its students, being a unique learning experience, different from any other part-time MBA in Greece. Founded in 1998, it is the first Executive MBA in the country, thus counting 24 years of educating executives.

It is listed among the best executive MBA programs in Europe, according to the international organization EDUNIVERSAL and is AMBA accredited which certifies international recognition and confirms that the students’ investment results in a top-quality educational qualification.

It is the only programme in Greece that it is targeting entrepreneurs and experienced executives either in middle or high-ranking levels of Greek and multinational companies. Our aim is to help them transform their lives and careers. 

Every year the program welcomes a variety of highly educated and experienced students.  On each enrollment 48-51% of our students already possess a postgraduate degree and 7-11% already hold a PhD. On average our students have a working experience of 9 years and an average age of approx. 37 years. The reputation and success of the program and of course the Athens University of Economics and Business facilitates students to request funding from their companies. Each year more than 12 students, which means 30% of the class manage to get it. It is worth noting that during the past few years an increasing number of businessmen/women, young entrepreneurs and managers who are taking over family businesses, trust the program to equip them with the necessary leadership, strategic and other skills to move their business forward.

The teaching staff is a blend of esteemed academics and respected professionals. 

A number of recent surveys have shown that our graduates are overall satisfied with the quality and contribution of the program to their professional and personal lives. The same holds in the evaluations by current students, of professors, learning environment and quality of curriculum. We are proud for our strong alumni network of almost 900 graduates who today are Managing Directors or General Managers of various companies. This cohesive group of professionals provide support to each other, especially now during the COVID-19 pandemic. The program itself has invested heavily and designed specific online seminars to help its graduates and students prepare for the post COVID-19 era.
