Argyros has chaired the board of trustees of Chapman University since 1976, and has donated significant resources towards establishing Chapman as a leading national business school.

The George L. Argyros School of Business and Economics full-time MBA, ranked in the top 100 nationwide in the QS Global MBA Rankings 2018, US News and by Bloomberg Businessweek, is designed for early career professionals, preparing them to flourish as future business leaders locally, nationally and globally. The 21-month program includes concentrations in finance and marketing, as well as specialized tracks in 10 different areas such as entertainment, global business, and entrepreneurship. Enrollment is in the fall, and applicants must submit an online application form along with a resume, a statement of intent, letters of recommendation, GMAT/GRE scores (average GMAT score: 648), and an official transcript from an undergraduate degree granting institution. Students have the option to pursue tracks, although these will not be included on their diplomas. Tracks include corporate finance, marketing, investment management, entrepreneurship, information systems in digital times, accounting, entertainment and media management, general management, and global business. Students can also pursue electives in entrepreneurship, finance, international business, or marketing.
