The AACSB accredited School of Management (SOM) at Clark University was launched in 1982 in response to the demand for high-quality scholarship in business and management. Over the last quarter century, SOM has experienced outstanding growth, and continues to embody its mission to develop a diverse community of learners, researchers, and business professionals that prepares future leaders to think critically, manage collaboratively, and contribute to their organizations and society.

Clark University offers a close-knit MBA program within a small world-renowned liberal arts university. Here, we provide exceptional opportunities for working in a collaborative learning environment with colleagues and professors on consequential management solutions.

Our globally experienced faculty of scholar-practitioners do more than impart core competencies in accounting, management, marketing, finance, and analytics. They also address the legal, political, ethical, social, and environmental responsibilities of management in their teaching and research. As a result, you graduate from Clark University with the toolkit and vision you need to create immediate, lasting, and socially responsible value for local and global organizations.

The Clark MBA consists of 12 course units - 9 core course units and 3 electives. Completion of a professional internship is required unless a student is enrolled in the Professional Track MBA, which requires special admission. MBA students can concentrate in one of the following areas:  Accounting; Expanded Accounting (offers specified courses that prepare you for the CPA exam); Finance; Management; Information Management and Business Analytics; Marketing; and, Social Change and Sustainability.

Through our emphasis on experiential learning, Clark’s MBA program gives you the opportunity to begin making meaningful change at the local and regional level before you’ve earned your degree. Students work together to address business issues of consequence in for-profit or nonprofit organizations based locally or globally. Your professional internship also gives you real-world experience and insight into how today’s business leaders address pressing everyday challenges. Clark MBA students frequently make valuable contributions to their internship employer’s success, and they continue to draw on these experiential learning opportunities for the rest of their careers.

Our close-knit community provides a unique environment in which students thrive. You will get to know your professors well and develop close relationships with staff and faculty who will support you throughout your time in the program. You will also have a dedicated career management center that will assist you in achieving your career goals.
