The Broad Executive MBA offers two format options:
- Traditional Executive MBA: In-person every other weekend in East Lansing or Troy.
- Flex Executive MBA: A hybrid format that meets in-person one weekend per month exclusively in East Lansing + online.
Admission Requirements:
Completed applications are considered on a rolling basis September–June each year. Our admissions committee carefully reviews the comprehensive experience, ability and aspirations of each applicant, selecting those students who will be most successful in the program. The minimum criteria for admission include:
- Significant, progressive work experience
- Required employment in a professional setting/organization.
- Traditional Executive MBA: 5+ years of professional work experience
- Executive MBA Flex: 3+ years of professional work experience
- A four-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Demonstrated management potential, leadership qualities, intellectual curiosity and strong work ethic.
- Desire to grow personally and contribute to a collaborative, team-style environment.
- A GMAT or GRE score is not required to apply. While quantitative ability is a necessary skill, we seek evidence of each candidate’s ability through a variety of means such as previous academic coursework, work experience, professional certifications, etc.

- February 1, 2024
- April 1, 2024
- June 1, 2024 (last round for applicants with international transcripts)
- June 15, 2024 (domestic transcripts only)
Tuition fee and scholarships:
The Broad Executive MBA at Michigan State offers a no-hassle, no-surprises, all-inclusive tuition package. The following expenses are incorporated into the overall cost of the program:
- Tuition and fees (for 45 credits)
- All required course materials
- All meals while classes are in session on Friday evenings and Saturday.
- Required hotel accommodations during orientation and residencies.
- Graduation cap and gown
- Facilities with access to printers, copiers, and wireless internet
Current tuition cost for the Broad Executive MBA is $87,000 USD.
The Broad Executive MBA program admission committee awards a limited number of partial scholarships during the admission cycle. The scholarships are to recognize individuals who strive to make a significant impact on their organization through teamwork, collaboration, and ethical leadership. The scholarship decisions are based on a holistic review of the completed scholarship application. Each scholarship will be awarded at the discretion of the program.
