Executive MBA

The executive MBA at Esade focuses on boosting the student’s career aspirations in senior management roles, by improving their leadership and decision-making skills. All MBA programme offerings includes:

• The opportunity to study elective subjects abroad, with a choice of subjects from our international academic partner network.
• Three international immersion experiences: Europe, Asia, and the USA.

To fit the busy schedule of working professionals, the EMBA is offered in four formats;

The EMBA programme in the Madrid campus is primarily taught in Spanish, with some modules also delivered in English. Face-to-face classes occur once a month from Thursday to Saturday, with sessions running from 9 AM to 2 PM and from 3 PM to 8 PM. Students can enrol for the programme in February each year.

The online, blended EMBA will have live online sessions on Friday afternoons or Saturday afternoons (Central Europe Time) along with 4 residential module weeks which will take place on the Esade campuses in Barcelona and Madrid. The total duration of the online blended EMBA is 24 months including the international immersion experience. Students can enrol for the programme in October each year.

EMBA Monthly will offer classes only once every month which will be held face-to-face in either the Barcelona or Madrid campuses. This programme will be delivered in English and the classes will take place from Thursday to Saturday, from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM and from 2:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Students can enrol for the programme in November each year.

EMBA Weekly is conducted in campuses in Barcelona with classes held weekly, every Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. Classes are primarily conducted in Spanish, although English also plays a significant role during international immersion weeks and during electives completed abroad. 

Executive education

Esade executive education offers a diverse array of programmes tailored to executives at various stages of their careers. 

There are a range of open programmes designed to train managers based on the stages they are at in their professional development journey or based on their individual needs. The types of open programme offerings are as follows;

• Executive development programmes, which aim to enhance decision-making skills of individuals and improve their influence in teams all the while working towards organisational success. 
• Specialised programmes focusing on areas like leadership, digital transformation, finance, and marketing. 
• Specific industry programmes catering to professionals in sectors like public administration and healthcare, addressing their unique needs with tailored management techniques.

Combining the face-to-face method of programme delivery and innovative digitalised approaches, Esade also offers a range of in/on programmes for individuals interested in the blended learning approach.

Corporate MBAs which are tailor-made programmes for companies/business associations and off campus training and programmes with partner institutions are also offered as a part of Esade’s executive education programme offerings.
