ESMT Berlin MBA Overview

The redesigned full-time, one-year ESMT Berlin MBA program brings Berlin into the classroom, you into Berlin and prepares you for a career in Germany. Based on the needs in the German job market, we designed tracks in, which allow you to build expertise in the areas that companies need today.

·               Managerial Analytics – gain the skills you need to manage analysts and drive data-oriented processes

·               Innovation & Entrepreneurship – takes you from idea generation to implementation, in startups or established companies

·               Strategic Leadership – hone your aptitude to execute complex strategies in an international context

Pre and post program options including German language courses and a coding bootcamp to further enhance your skills. Global virtual teams, international options, and a company consulting project, combined with a class that averages 94% international students each year mean that you will be ready to easily adapt to global business. Examples of consulting projects include augmented reality & artificial intelligence, sustainable housing, autonomous driving, fintech, alternative fuels, smart city development, etc. Classes begin in January, end in February and are entirely in English. The program has about 50-60 students per year from around 30 countries. The program has a strong focus in individual development and soft skills. Individual career coaching sessions, and significant alumni and company networking opportunities. The average student age is – years old with 7 years of work experience (3 year minimum experience).

One key advantage of studying in Germany is that current legislation allows all graduates to stay for 18 months following graduation on a job-seeker visa. Upon signing a work contract, graduates have a renewable work permit every two years. On average 90% of ESMT Berlin graduates work in Germany.
