The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a one-year three-semester full-time program (90 ECTS). This EQF level 7/NFQ level  9 program is designed to provide students with a critical understanding of core business functions as well as strategic business management, while also enhancing their innovative capability and practical, transversal and practical skills. Through the acquisition of a skillset in business management and business strategy in a global context, students learn how to effectively manage organizations and be flexible in diverse business environments. In addition, students acquire skills and competencies in dynamic leadership development and strategic decision-making. 

This general program provides a solid foundation in key business disciplines while allowing students to acquire specialist knowledge in a field of interest by studying electives from two of the three different MBA pathways offered at EU Munich.

Upon completion of this program, graduates will have acquired the necessary skillset to start or strengthen their career in business, underpin any further business studies and achieve excellence at executive level in their chosen profession.

The minimum entry requirements for the MBA are:
  • 1 certified copy of bachelor's degree and transcripts
  • Proof of English level: TOEFL score 80 (internet-based), 213 (computer-based); IELTS 6.0; B2+ CEFR; native English speaker or equivalent.


Applicants must also meet one of the following:
  • A GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent
  • A satisfactory score on the GMAT
  • An interview with the academic department


* Applicants who do not have a Level 8 qualification at a 2.2 award level and who have at least 3 years’ work experience may also be considered through the college’s normal RPL procedures.  Relevant professional experience may be taken into account and individuals will be assessed on a case-by-case basis through DBS RPL procedures.
