Goethe Business School’s unique Pharma MBA is the only MBA program in Europe with a dedicated focus on the pharmaceutical industry. The part-time program was developed by GBS in collaboration with the House of Pharma and Healthcare and offers a distinctive combination of business fundamentals and pharma-specific management expertise. Our goal is to prepare aspiring professionals for a management career in the pharmaceutical industry.
The part-time program starts annually in October and can be completed within 22 months. Graduates earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree (90 ECTS CP) from the AACSB-accredited Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and the Faculty of Chemistry, Biochemistry and Pharmacy at Goethe University Frankfurt.
As a minimum requirement for admissions to the program, applicants bring along a Bachelor’s degree (180 CP) or equivalent, two years of professional work experience and proficiency in English.
The Pharma MBA provides:
- a strong foundation in the principles and
practice of management and business
- cutting-edge research and applied knowledge along the pharmaceutical value chain
- a highly qualified faculty with prominent lecturers from and the pharma industry practice
- a job-compatible format and an ideal work-study balance with bi-weekly classes on Friday afternoons and Saturdays
- access to a large network of Goethe Business School, Goethe University and the House of Pharma & Healthcare
- Modern, centrally located location on the most beautiful campus in
Germany, the Westend campus of Goethe University
