The two-year Post Graduate Programme in Enterprise Management (PGPEM) is IIMB’s Executive MBA program for working professionals. The program attracts working executives across industry sectors in India, with an average work experience ranging around 12 years. This master’s program is scheduled on weekends, so that, working professionals could pursue the program without having to take a break from their careers. The purpose is to complement the excellent functional knowledge of participants with contemporary management knowledge and accelerate the aspirants for senior and top management roles in the global environment.

Two decades ago, when the program was launched, it was a Corporate sponsored program for creating leadership pipeline within the organisations. Over the years, the brand has become popular and dynamic. With changing trends in organizations from sponsorship to reimbursements, individual middle-level executives started taking charge of their career goals and have pursued this program. The academic rigour, student evaluation, case study pedagogy along with face-to-face peer networking and access to cutting edge research of the teaching faculty helps the executives to horn their leadership skills for challenges in the organizations. The curriculum provides conceptual clarity, practical problem-solving skills and articulation during client interface. Wide choice of electives, international student exchange programs and exposure to start-up ecosystem has enabled the participants and the program to be ranked #1 in India consistently in QS Global rankings.

More than 1600 alumni have benefited from this program in achieving their career goals and have been promoted to senior leadership positions in their organisations.
