Course information
The Manchester Met MBA is designed with the challenges of modern leadership in mind. Teaching is informed by research and aligned to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, helping you develop the skills to lead responsibly, sustainably, and globally.
You will learn from industry-connected academics who bring real-world business experience into the classroom, applying knowledge to live case studies and organisational challenges. Each module also features a guest lecture delivered by industry leaders from the UK and overseas, giving you insights you can put into practice immediately.
Our hybrid teaching model gives you the flexibility to choose how you attend each module, either on campus or online, without compromising your experience. Teaching is delivered in immersive three-day blocks, with no weekly campus attendance, allowing you to balance your MBA alongside work and life commitments. Assessments are practical and work-focused, designed to strengthen your skills and confidence rather than testing memorisation, so you can apply what you learn straight away.
Over two years, you will complete eight 15-credit modules – four in year one and four in year two – and two 30-credit projects, one in each year. While some in-person attendance is required, you may choose to study up to four modules online across the two years. You will also have the opportunity to join your cohort on a study abroad trip, broadening your global perspective and deepening connections with peers.
