Executive MBA

The Executive MBA has started in 2001. It is the leading executive managerial programme in the northern part of Portugal, and the largest in the country. The Executive MBA targets candidates from the regional corporate market. The programme is taught predominantly in Portuguese, with some activities such as the international week and certain subjects being taught in English. These are executives with minimum five years of experience and a previous degree from any field of knowledge. On average, however, EMBA participants have more than 12 years of work experience. The Executive MBA programme prepares students to assume senior or top management positions, providing them with advanced training in applied management and business practice, and the required skills (regarding individuals, teams/projects and organizations as a whole) needed to adapt to changing environments and to lead change within their organizations. Furthermore, it aims at developing in students an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong focus on sustainability and social responsibility when dealing with managerial issues.
