The Schulich Full-Time MBA is a 16-20 month program that offers an integrated approach to general management fundamentals and combines classroom learning with hands-on experience through an eight month strategic consulting project working with real clients, problems and solutions. 

The program offers 18 different specializations, year-round study options including full-time, part-time and accelerated, 52 exchange partners in 30 countries, internship opportunities, and short term study tours that allow you to customize your studies to your personal and professional interests.

At Schulich you will learn to manage complexity, ambiguity and change as you examine business issues in a global environment. You will gain an international perspective, strong management education and a skills that will accelerate your career and open doors both in Canada and abroad.

Previous graduates of the Schulich Full-Time MBA program have gone on to enjoy employment in financial services, technology, retail, consulting, other/law, consumer packaged goods, healthcare, manufacturing, real estate/other, energy/oil and gas, arts and media/non-profit and government. 

In addition, within three months of graduating, 90 percent of Schulich’s Full-Time MBA graduates are employed with an average starting salary of $91,940 CAD. According to Forbes’ ‘The Best Business Schools’ 2017 ranking, Schulich had the highest 5-Year MBA Gain and the best ‘Years to Payback’ among its one-year and two-year MBA programs in Canada. 

Tuition fees

Tuition fees for international students are $26,550 CAD per term ($106,200 CAD in total). 

If you’re interested in studying at the Schulich School of Business, full-time domestic and international students are eligible to receive entrance funding up to $85,000 CAD based on academic merit and past leadership experiences.

A limited number of continuing student scholarships and awards are also available. More information regarding special funding for postgraduate students can be found here.

Entry requirements and admissions process

To apply to Schulich’s MBA program, you will need to have:

  • An undergraduate degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with a minimum B average in the last two full years (or equivalent) of academic work
  • Applicants with three-year degrees may be considered for admission with one year of work experience beyond the required minimum
  • Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT)  or Graduate Record Examination (GRE)
  • Minimum two years of relevant post-degree, full-time work experience or life experience (or three years with a three-year degree)

You will then need to complete the online application and submit the following: 

  • Essays (two written, one timed written, two videos)
  • Up-to-date CV
  • Two references
  • Proof of English language proficiency if your previous studies were not completed in English
  •  Unofficial copies of transcripts from all previously attended post-secondary institutions*
  • Unofficial copies of GMAT or GRE scores*

*Official copies of these documents will be required if an applicant receives an offer to the program.

Scholarships and special funding 

If you’re interested in studying at the Schulich School of Business, there are a variety of merit-based scholarships up to the value of $85,000 CAD for its MBA programs. Scholarships are awarded based on an assessment of GMAT/GRE scores, GPA and leadership experiences. 

International students will be automatically evaluated for scholarships upon acceptance into the program.
