The Executive Master of Business Administration is offered by HKU Business School. The Programme is intended for senior executives with substantial managerial experience. Students will mainly be taught by faculty members from The University of Hong Kong. The Programme has also engaged with faculty members from Guanghua School of Management of Peking University to deliver courses of latest business knowledge, policy and economic development in China. The objectives of the programme are to provide advanced business education and cutting edge knowledge in business and finance, which has an interdisciplinary approach and an international perspective with emphasis on the Asian region; to provide an opportunity for candidates to specialise in a number of fields in management; and to advance their managerial skills in dynamic business settings. At the end of the programme candidates are expected to be able to take a strategic overview of management and analyse the complex and inter-related demands on management from the perspectives of the various stakeholders of the business enterprise within the context both of local needs and the global economy. The programme emphasizes regional applicability, professional relevance and innovation.

Upon successful completion, students are awarded an Executive Master of Business Administration degree issued by The University of Hong Kong.

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or equivalent qualification from a HKU recognized university or approved institution with satisfactory academic results;
  • Have at least 8 years of experience at managerial level; and
  • Complete a qualifying examination of English if their degree qualifications were gained from a university in which the medium of instruction is non-English.
