UIC Liautaud’s faculty of thought leaders is committed to providing students with real-world, resume-building learning opportunities, unique to the Liautaud MBA program. These opportunities to interact with business experts, entrepreneurs and alumni allow our students to expand their professional networks and leverage fresh ideas that will set them apart in the marketplace. The UIC Liautaud MBA may be pursued on a part-time or full-time basis. Part-time students register for one or two courses per semester and complete the program in three to four years; full-time students complete the program in approximately two years. Each course meets once a week for 16 weeks, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. All of our core courses are also offered online and some elective courses are offered Saturday mornings. The UIC Liautaud MBA program is a 13.5 course (54 credit hours) program comprised of six core courses (24 credit hours) and 7.5 advanced electives (30 credit hours). The core courses are designed to provide students with a basic business foundation. These courses will teach you the fundamental concepts needed to deepen your functional business knowledge. Following the completion of the core courses, 30 credit hours of advanced elective courses are taken.
