The Lincoln MBA aims to advance knowledge, build confidence and provide students with the skills required to be successful in a modern business environment – whether this be new management responsibilities or as new role as senior leader in industry.

Bringing together relevant contemporary academic theories and research with practical understanding of activities within organisations it draws upon critical action research, and encourages students to combine collaborative learning with critical thinking and critical management learning. Team learning is used to explore the realities of leadership and organisational situations, as well as encourage individual reflections on the tensions, emotions and power dynamics that exist within and between teams and various management structures. There are opportunities for students to implement their learning in practice by applying relevant theories to issues in real-world scenarios through case studies, as well as an opportunity to undertake a consultancy project on behalf of an organisation

Students will develop a critical understanding of the issues relating to business and management, enhancing their ability to maximise both individual and organisational potential. Developing aspects of leadership, such as strategy, innovation, enterprise and risk it builds an individual's capacity to successfully manage and lead people, projects, operations and/or services
