Full Time MBA Overview

The Full-time Surrey MBA is a one year intensive programme that attracts high-calibre students from a wide range of business backgrounds and nationalities. It is particularly suitable for anyone wanting to build an international business career or preparing to start their own business.

The Full-time programme is delivered Monday-Friday at Surrey Business School on the University of Surrey campus in Guildford, only 34 minutes away from central London by train.

Throughout the MBA syllabus Surrey students are given the opportunity to take part in live business projects with partner organisations and extra-curricular activities, for hands-on experience of putting innovative thinking into practice. Recent projects include our MBA students working with Barclays in their London head office and Sony Music.

Week long workshops are integrated into our programme, dedicated to personal and professional development. These would include confidence building, and the development of practical yet essential business skills. Workshops incorporating mentoring sessions, discussions and debates facilitated by guest speakers and visiting professors.

We also offer a dedicated professional coaching and careers expert, careers sessions take place every week including: one-on-one career coaching, skills in developing your personal profile, positioning and networking, advice on CV building and online networking and interview preparation including mock interviews and assessments.

What are the course fees for the program?

Full time and Executive MBA fees for 2017 entry is £24,000.

How are scholarships awarded and what are the eligibility requirements?

Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis and therefore candidates who apply early in the admissions round will have a greater opportunity to receive an award. Scholarships will cover up to 50% of the total tuition fee of the programme.

What are the English Language/IELTS requirements?

You will need good written and spoken business English language skills. If English is not your first language, you will be required to have either of the below:

- IELTS (academic): minimum of 6.5 overall, with no less than 6.0 in any component
- Pearson (academic): minimum of 62 overall, with no less than 56 in any component
