Victoria Graduate School of Business

Victoria University is a direct descendant of Footscray Technical School, which first opened its doors to students in February 1916. It was intended by local businesses and the community to raise students out of the ranks of unskilled laborers, and adopted the image of the 'Door of Opportunity' as a means of expressing to the entire community its purpose and reason for existence. Victoria University inherits that spirit and tradition, with its vision to be open and excellent, and to create exceptional value for any student from any background and to uplift the communities in which it operates.

The academic curriculum for the full-time MBA at the University of Victoria Graduate School of Business follows a standard path, with students required to complete core units such as financial analysis and work and organization systems, as well as professional core units in 21st century work environment.

Given this variety, Victoria MBA graduates find employment in dynamic, middle to senior management roles, across a wide range of industries, from finance to IT, marketing, engineering, construction, tourism and sporting industries, both in Australia and overseas.
