Business schools need to innovate to stay ahead of the curve. This is one of the things Imperial College Business School continues to do without a glitch.
To find out what Imperial is up to, we caught up with faculty and students to hear their thoughts.
Katia Fox, MBA student
MBA student Katia Fox chose Imperial for many reasons:
It’s situated in the City of London; a fantastic city full of amazing companies and opportunities to learn about different businesses, specifically in technology, finance, and innovation
The school is focussed on innovation, entrepreneurship, tech, sustainability. All these things are important in today’s economy and things Katia was looking for in a school
Imperial is invested in women in business. The b-school does everything it can to promote women in leadership positions and business overall. There’s the ‘We Innovate’ program and many different club opportunities. There’s almost 50/50 gender parity in the classroom which is almost unheard of at any other business school
Joël McConnell
Joël McConnell, Executive Director of Marketing, Recruitment, and Admissions says key areas of expertise at Imperial focus on delivering the promise of bringing technology and business together.
Three examples:
Imperial is using AI and machine learning to better prepare graduates for the key moment they have to go back to the job market
Using different technologies to give them access to top speakers who may not be able to fly to London, but could give a live lecture – and Imperial uses hologram technology to do that
The data observatory – developed by Imperial with top organizations which is especially useful for students studying business analytics
