These two regions are relatively new to the business education scene, but the latest QS MBA rankings show the Middle East’s continuing rise. South Africa is represented by two of the five ranking schools, though this represents a slight decline in its performance as compared to previous years.

Both regions are still developing in terms of global economic prominence, but with economic diversification becoming ever-more necessary as the extraction and trade of natural resources becomes increasingly unsustainable, business education will be key. A wide range of Western branch campuses in places like Dubai, the UAE, Qatar, and across Africa, supplement domestic offerings.
