This week’s edition of the Weekly Pulse hopes the world's b-school bloggers are enjoying their respective summers in beautiful locations, or else are perhaps undertaking a truly awe-inspiring internship.

Take the case of Under Prescription, for example, who is basically ready to move to Hannover, but found time to find a beautiful beach. Or Asanas and an MBA, whose spending freeze on wardrobe purchases almost, almost slipped. TV to MBA shares Sheryl Sandberg’s recent words of wisdom in a speech addressing the Tsinghua class of 2015.

The beginning of the summer also marks the emergence of a new set of student bloggers at top business schools. UCLA Anderson student blogger, Yu Chen, might not be looking to make millions, but we have to applaud his desire to help less fortunate students.

Elsewhere, Kellogg student blogger, Amrit Chavada talks about the school’s Complete Immersion in Management program and MIT Sloan blogger Josh Chen is looking forward to heading to Boulder for Sloan’s Pre-F(x) (also known as pre-function, introductory and student-led trips!)

Finally, the No Pay MBA discusses why she feels anyone pursuing a MOOCs-based MBA needs an educational portfolio.
