Admission Requirements
Admissions Criteria
Four-year Bachelor’s degree with an overall cumulative grade point average of a “B” which is the equivalent of 8.0/12 on Carleton’s scale. The CGPA calculation will be based on all years of study.
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as defined in the notes below.
Two professional recommendations from current or past superiors.
In lieu of the GMAT, candidates are required to complete a series of self-paced, online modules through mbamath.com and meet the minimum criteria (see the notes below) in order to be considered for admission. Applicants may substitute MBA Math criteria with the GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) with a minimum score of 550 or an equivalent GRE (Graduate Record Exam) score.
Statement of Intent - Once the online application process begins, applicants will have access to four Statement of Intent questions.

Concentrations are not offered however, elective courses are utilized to provide students with a blend of courses based on current marketplace demands.
Courses will be delivered in an intensive weekend format with classes scheduled on campus in Ottawa on every second Friday and Saturday throughout the 16-month program.
Students interested in applying for the PMBA program have the choice of either MBAMath Modules, or a GMAT Test for admissions. Candidates must meet either the online MBA Math course criteria or the GMAT. Meeting either the GMAT or MBA Math criteria is mandatory and will not be waived regardless of cumulative grade point average, years of professional experience, or number of degrees.
