The IMD MBA offers you a personalized and experiential learning journey with leadership at its core. No matter the direction you seek for your career, our program will focus on advancing your professional development, providing you with critical business knowledge, and developing the reflective and responsible leadership skills you need to transform organizations and society.

You’ll learn from some of the world’s best faculty experts and influential speakers, make lifelong connections with your peers, and tap into IMD’s diverse and global community that challenges what is and inspires what could be. At the same time, you will master the essential knowledge and skills needed to bring sustainability to your organization and career, develop your critical thinking and improve your ability to make complex and ethical decisions.

Over 40% of your learning at IMD takes place outside the traditional MBA classroom. From live case studies to Discovery Expeditions and International Consulting Projects, you will have the opportunity to

build your knowledge around core topics and apply it in real-time across the globe. Over the first few months, you will also explore the entrepreneurial world by working with selected local start-ups, and  develop new skills through week-long, hands-on labs.

IMD offers an environment where you can make the most of your learning experience and the surrounding area. Our MBA program is constantly evolving to ensure it offers you the best of the latest  research, trends and business insights and the campus is located in Lausanne, Switzerland, a thriving hub of med-tech, neuro-tech, deep learning, and start-ups. On your learning journey, you will gain  knowledge from a wide range of teaching experts with diverse backgrounds, talents, and cultures whilst also having time to take advantage of Switzerland’s rich outdoor living culture.

The admissions process has been specifically designed to offer an in-depth, mutual opportunity for us to get to know each other better. It is your chance to explore the MBA program and get an insight into what the experience might mean to you personally. For IMD, it’s about developing an understanding of what you want from the program and the unique aspects that you will bring to the program and your  classmates. For our 2024 program, we welcomed 103 students to campus, representing 44 different nationalities and bringing with them a wide range of professional experience and knowledge.
