Online MBA programs represent an altogether different student experience to the full-time format and must, therefore, be ranked accordingly.  

The QS Distance Online MBA Rankings were created with exactly this distinction in mind – to assess online MBA programs across factors that are particular to a distance or virtual learning experience. Six areas of assessment are utilized by the QS Distance Online MBA Rankings 2017, each of which is given a weighting towards a program’s final score. Please note:

* In addition to the required accreditation depicted above (AMBA, EQUIS, AACSB or EPAS) ACBSP accreditation has also been accepted for inclusion in the QS Distance Online MBA Rankings for the first time in 2017. 

* The inclusion of one online MBA program in this year’s rankings, that of La Trobe University, is based on the program undergoing, rather than already holding, EPAS accreditation at the time of rankings’ publication.
