Applicants with more than two years of relevant professional experience can apply to be exempt from the internship. If awarded, students can finish their MBA in as little as eight months

Admission Requirements
Completed, in the past five years, a four-year bachelor’s degree in business from a recognized Canadian university, or equivalent
A minimum overall average of B+ based on all four years of study
Two academic recommendations from Professors are required unless the candidate meets the work experience criteria, as defined in the “Application Process” section, in which professional references may then be substituted.
The Sprott School requires that all applicants submit a GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) with a minimum score of 550 or an equivalent GRE (Graduate Record Exam) score. To calculate your equivalent GRE score, you can use the GRE Comparison Table for Business Schools.
*Applicants with admissions averages of B+ or higher may request a GMAT waiver with their application for consideration by the admissions team. Please note that presenting the required overall average does not guarantee a waiver, and all waiver considerations are up to the discretion of our admissions team
Students with two or more years of professional work experience may apply to be exempted from the internship once in-program, reducing their program time to 8 months
Statement of Intent (once the online application process begins, applicants will have access to the ‘three’ Statement of Intent questions

Accelerated MBA applicants may request a GMAT waiver within their application for consideration by the Admissions Team. Note that a waiver is not guaranteed, and applicants may be asked to complete MBA Math (an online self-paced series of learning modules) in order to demonstrate certain aptitudes.
Do I require work experience for this program?
No, while we welcome students with a range of work experience, the Sprott MBA includes an integrative experiential internship to ensure that all MBA graduates complete the program ready to succeed in the job market. Students with two or more years of professional work experience may apply to be exempted from the internship once in-program.
